Part 2: Multifunctional cutter

The OctoPus®  1 home cutter was recently introduced in a single-user version specifically for SenSura® Mio Convex ostomy pouches. Now we present its multifunctional version, especially suitable for hospitals, nursing homes, etc., through a short video made while cutting an oppening in a SenSura® one-piece urostomy pouch.

After a short period of use, the OctoPus®  1 cutter takes approx. 1 minute to make one hole. Depending on the type/size of the adhesive pad of the stoma pouch, the OctoPus®  1 cutter allows the use of up to ten fixed pre-set hole sizes. The multifunctionality of the OctoPus®  1 cutter has already been proven for convatec products and we are currently preparing a version for Hollister products.
